About Cozy Check-ins

Cozy Check-ins is a simple, non-medical daily check-in service that helps families stay connected with older adults living independently. Each day, an older adult taps one friendly button to say they're okay. If the expected check-in is missed, the people in their family Circle are notified so someone can reach out.

What Cozy Check-ins is

Cozy Check-ins is a communication tool for families. It is not a medical alert device, a monitoring service, or an emergency-response service. A completed check-in only means the person completed the expected check-in — it does not confirm that the person is medically healthy or physically safe.

Who it's for

Cozy Check-ins was built for adult children with aging parents, families separated by distance, older adults who live independently, and the trusted relatives, friends, neighbors, and community organizations who care about them.

Meet the founders

Cozy Check-ins was co-founded by Mark Murphy, a former Fire/EMT, and A. Murphy, whose parents live independently in rural Mexico. Read their story on the Meet the Founders page.

Cozy Check-ins is a wellness check-in tool to help families stay connected. It is not a medical, monitoring, or emergency service and should not be relied on for emergencies. In an emergency, call 911.
